Kuker-Ranken, a nationally recognized leader in Architectural, Engineering Construction and Survey Equipment announces the addition of Rob Mitchell to the KR team.

Rob is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor and brings more than twenty years of experience providing client service, project management, office and field support to many projects of all size and scope – such as the Alaskan Way Viaduct Mapping Project, the $1.8 Billion dollar Brightwater Tunneling project, and the Wild Horse Wind Power Project. He also brings relationships with a number of the region’s leaders in civil and survey services. Rob has great enthusiasm for the field he’s worked in for over 22 years.

With a degree in Economics from Santa Clara University and as a registered PLS in both Washington and Idaho, Rob offers a unique perspective on the ‘business of surveying’ which forms his approach to client service. He focuses on providing clients with the right tools and technology to support the needs of each specific project while ensuring they receive maximum value from their investment.

Prior to joining Kuker-Ranken, Rob was Survey Manager at Parametrix, Inc and Senior Project Manager at David Evans & Associates. He is also a published author and has lectured at a number of regional conferences and workshops on a number of topics from GPS and Land Survey Best Practices to case studies on some of the region’s most notable survey projects.

When he’s not working, Rob enjoys golf, tennis, basketball, is an avid snow skier and baseball fan.
