2005 USHERS IN CHANGE AT KUKER-RANKEN
Long time employees Bob Lycke and Ro Berkley have purchased Kuker-Ranken, Inc.
located in Mountlake Terrace, Fife and Beaverton, effective January 1st 2005.
Gary and Sandi Rousseau purchased the company in 1977 and developed it from a single downtown store with 9 employees to a current staff of 28 divided among three locations.
Bob started working for them in 1977 while in high school and Ro joined the company in 1988, giving them combined service exceeding 40 years,
"Our 76 year history is a solid foundation on which to build," states Bob Lycke. "We are fortunate that Gary & Sandi developed a solid reputation in customer service and we look forward to carrying on that tradition with an increased sales force and expansion of our Service and Repair departments."
Kuker-Ranken Inc. was founded in 1928 in Seattle and is known worldwide for the brass hand levels manufactured at the Mountlake Terrace facility. Kuker-Ranken is also the Northwest authorized dealer for Leica-Geosystems survey equipment as well as Hewlett-Packard plotters.
