What is the Kuker-Ranken Shipping Policy?

Shipping Policy You must notify Customer Service of a shipping discrepancy no later than 14 days from the invoice/ship date. Requests received after 14 days will not be honored.

Explanation for discrepancies: Over shipment: Quantity exceeds the original order

Short Shipment: Quantity is less than original order

Mis-shipment: Warehouse mis-labeled, carrier delivered incorrectly or box contained incorrect part (vendor error)

Lost Shipment: Carrier misplaced or misdelivered package

Damaged Shipment: Box is not in resellable condition due to carrier shipping problem

Warehouse Incident: If this is a warehouse incident Customer Service reports the disposition (incident approved or denied) back to you within approximately 48 hours.

Traffic Incident: The Traffic Department reports the loss or damage to the appropriate carrier. The turnaround time for a lost shipment credit can be as much as six weeks or more depending on the carrier. If this is a damaged shipment, Customer Service issues an RMA number to you upon receipt of confirmation from the carrier that they have accepted the claim. Turnaround time is approximately 48 hours.

Lost Package - with Federal Express: Receive the shipment and sign the delivery receipt with an "exception" when a package(s) is missing (Receiving Guidelines). Contact Federal Express at 800-463-3339 within 48 hours to report the loss. When you report the missing package, Federal Express will provide you with a control number, which you will need to report to Customer Service via the RMA Request Form. This control number is NOT an admission of liability, it only indicates that an incident has been reported. Only the actual Federal Express payment to Kuker-Ranken Inc. confirms Federal Express's admission of liability. The Traffic Department will process a freight claim on your behalf only if you noted the discrepancy on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery. If the loss or damage is not noted on the delivery receipt, the insurance company/carrier will not honor your claim.

Lost Package - with UPS: Receive shipment and sign with "exception" in case of a missing package (Receiving Guidelines ). Contact UPS at 800-742-5877 within approx. 48 hours to report the loss. UPS will provide you with an LDI number, which you need to report to Customer Service via the RMA Request Form. This LDI number is NOT an admission of liability it only indicates that an incident has been reported. Only the actual UPS payment confirms UPS's admission of liability. Customer Service processes the freight claims on your behalf only if you noted the exception on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery. If the loss is not noted on the delivery receipt, the insurance company/carrier will not honor your claim.

Damaged Package - with Federal Express: Refuse the shipment! Although refusing the shipment will delay your order, you will not be responsible for repacking and resending the package back to KR. Contact Kuker-Ranken Inc. at 800-454-1310 within 48 hours and report all information regarding the damaged package(s). Kuker-Ranken will contact Federal Express in regards to the claim. If you choose to receive the package, sign the delivery receipt and include the word "damaged". If "damage" is not noted on the delivery receipt, the insurance company/carrier will not honor your claim. Signing and acceptance of any package(s) is at your discretion.
